A New Season; A New Era

Hello, dear readers, it has been a while since I posted here. So much has happened in my life since I last had something to share with you.

I have published a book, which is a compilation of many of these posts and other writings the Lord has given me. Through trial and error, I think I have come up on the right side of my purpose. I will say I have matured, although I have not graduated yet!

No, I take that back! I did have a graduation from some of the old ways of thinking and doing. It is so rewarding to know that I don’t have to walk alone on the path of life, shrouded in mystery and secrecy, God is with me every step of the way. I realized that Father sent the Holy Spirit to be a Helper for me, and not an overseer. He never wanted to take control, but to partner with me. He is counselor, intercessor, friend, and much more. His I-Am-ness is whatever I need Him to be in my life, and my yielded-ness is to trust Him to show me better ways to be me.

Back in 2018 I published these writings and more in a book titled ‘My Father’s Voice’. That was an adventure because I went into the whole thing blind to the workings of publishing a book. Even though I did some ‘research’, I was totally out of my league in the art of self-publishing and was fair game in my ignorance.

In 2020 I broke my agreement with that publisher and republished the book, adding what I had omitted, which were the first words, or the beginnings of the Lord’s words to me. Again, I must not have learned much from my first experience because that publishing did not go well.

I did not have a way of determining what was happening with the book or who was reading it. The nagging desire to be informed about my audience would not go away. So, in 2022, enticed again by what seemed like a God connection, I published again, under the same title.

OMG, that was the worst of the three publishers. Nothing promised was provided and I had to fight tooth and nail to get anything accomplished. I am still waiting for quarterly reports for the second quarter of 2023 to the present date. I did get a 1099 tax form for $36 in royalties in 2024.

During the time since then, the gnawing thoughts about the audience and who was reading the book would not go away. It was never about the money; I believe I gifted most of the books published to anyone I felt would be blessed, and probably to some who were not interested.  I sensed the Lord telling me to go for it again, and I renamed the book, ‘I Hear Him Speak’. We went live on Amazon on Aug 25, 2025, and expect to officially launch September 26-28.

I have added more chapters as I have traveled new paths with the Lord, and I was careful to include as many of the first words that the Lord directed me to add. The Love of God

John 3:16 Ampl. For God so greatly loved  and  dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes on (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. We have heard and probably read this scripture since our childhood. We have heard it at home, in Sunday school, and in songs and many other forms.  Even non-Christians know John 3:16. Our Never Ending Celebration

It has been so long since I had something exciting to write to you my friends, but as we approach Christmas day my heart is filled with the joy and excitement of the reality of the plan of redemption conceived in the heart of God and covenanted between God and Jesus.  An everlasting covenant. God's plan was so ingenious that none of the principalities and rulers knew or they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory (I Cor 2:8)  Who would expect Almighty God to descend from heaven as a Seed and impregnate a young virgin?
